A (small) new project!

Just a little sneak peak on an upcoming project. Yes, I know I have my hands pretty much full... but some upcoming releases from Khurasan combined with Steve's recent post on cinematic gaming over on DH forced my hand. The above pictured beauty arrived today but the rest will probably will probably have to wait until next month.

I'm thinking I might get Spacejacker's Star Station Zero paper terrain as well to tie into this project. I'd love to get some of Creative Gamescapes starship corridor sets, but they're a bit more pricey. Looks pretty great though (see right).

By now you probably know what I'm up to (and I'm sure some of you just needed to see that first picture) but I like to pretend that I'm being sneaky and clever so I'll keep it under wraps for a while.

As my projects keep multiplying I find myself in need of a Master Plan...

  1. Oooooh, I like where this is going!

If you can find the time to delve a bit deeper into paper terrain for wargames in a dedicated post, you've got experience with the stuff. I'm finding it quite hard to gather info or reviews and such from users.

  2. Hehe! Yeah, I think this will be fun! :)

That's a good idea for a future post! Although my experience so far is fairly limited, I've started looking into it more since I began playing Infinity.

  4. Yes, I remember reading your review not long after I discovered Tiny Solitary Soldiers. Hehe!

I've been looking at those and the Space Base sets as well. I like the Star Station tiles better, but would have liked to see more corridors included. Oh well, considering the price I might just as well get both. :)

  6. If I could afford the shipping to the UK, I would be all over those creative gamescapes sets!
If you are handy in photoshop you can open the SSZ PDF and copy/paste more corridors to a page, or even make new room shapes. Can't wait to see how this turns out :)

  8. @Dan Yeah, it should be fun! I'm following your (slightly different) colonial marine project as well. :)

@Spacejacker That is a good idea! Why didn't I think of that?! Well then... I'll start looking around for some foamboard to mount it on. Oh, and great work on those tiles, they really look great.

@The Angry Lurker Ah... you and your bloodhound nose!
