But if I remember correctly the grey is VMC Shadow Grey mixed with black for shading and sky grey for highlights. The white is VMC off-white mixed with some light brown colour for shading and ivory/white for highlights.

Hope that helps. :)Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14273617095134919455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816649425171456382.post-31816065432804039592014-12-14T00:28:08.033+01:002014-12-14T00:28:08.033+01:00Wich colours did you used to paint the guijia?Wich colours did you used to paint the guijia?Vladhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03557238735361521314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816649425171456382.post-55967337988887500052014-08-08T22:34:31.253+02:002014-08-08T22:34:31.253+02:00Well, I often find myself getting bored painting l...Well, I often find myself getting bored painting large models. Although I enjoy painting I might enjoy being done more. Hehe!

As for the airbrush I think I'm going to try and find a decent and quiet(ish) compressor before I start looking for the actual brush. It's not as fun as lavishing attention but it does feel nice to finish stuff.

I'm not sure what your plans are for an airbrush. I recently picked up an Iwata NEO and it has been working well. It's a cheap brush like the Chinese brushes you can buy on Ebay but it has an Iwata warranty if Coyotebdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08509083931128526136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816649425171456382.post-54127931416065806652014-08-08T15:11:29.370+02:002014-08-08T15:11:29.370+02:00Thanks Greg! Even when I try I often end up with a muted version of the colour I'm after out of sheer habit! I'm not playing (or painting) nearly as much Infinity as I would like to, but N3 certainly fired up my motivation

I'm pretty much using the technique you describe, however I'm impatient so haven't done as many gradients as I probably should. Masamune brought so much techie goodness back in the nineties! :D

I really like what we've seen so far of N3! It seems like it will bring on some more drastic changes than 2nd ed did (which was more of a revision). I'm hoping for a return for TAGs and some more hacking/e-war. I'll have to get my Guijia assembled, rumours of 3rd Ed. have rekindled interest in my area.GMcDonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06075373092638994190noreply@blogger.com
